箱根登山鉄道宮ノ下駅を降りて坂を少しくだると、足湯が目に入ります。その足湯を中心にカフェ、ギャラリー、ショップがあります。これらはいずれも築５０年を超える古い建物を改装して作りました。ここ宮ノ下は古くから世界各国の旅人が訪れてきた歴史あるリゾート。その地に３００年続いた奈良屋旅館の名を引き継いで、旅人たちの新たな交流拠点を作ろうと、２００７年９月、NARAYA CAFEはオープンしました。
We opened a new concept cafe & will open a guesthouse at Miyanoshita village in Hakone hot-spring resort, Japan. We are going to make Naraya Cafe & Guesthouse by reforming such buildings. The cafe building and patio with foot bath (natural hot spring) is under construction now. And most of construction works are done by us (owner couple) and our friends.
